The most common question we get is “What exactly does OCDI do, and how do you do it?” The answers are remarkably simple.
Our purpose is to reduce or eliminate conflict in the lives of Veterans and Service Members by first letting them tell us what their individual hardships or conflicts are. Then, we match them with a professional Conflict Resolution Service Provider (CRSP) that specializes in, is properly credentialed in, and has a proven track record in that specific area of conflict resolution.
These CRSP’s are private practitioners in their respective callings, and each have committed to and satisfied a rigorous training requirement in order to serve our Veterans and Service Members through our organization.
All of our CRSP’s are paid a reduced fee for their services by the funding OCDI receives from grants and donations. None of our CRSP’s are permitted to charge or receive a commission or other contingency payment for the services they provide through OCDI.
Through the professional services of our diverse team of private practice CRSP's, Veterans and Service Members alike will gain access to the help they need to improve the quality of their individual lives.
Finally, we aggressively seek out Veterans and Service Members in the hope that they won’t have to look for us. Our outreach efforts to Veterans and Service Members include active and ongoing relationships
with other Veteran service and advocacy organizations such as U.S. Department of Defense, State Departments of Veteran Affairs (VA), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion, AmVets and Operation Stand Down (Nashville).
